I grew up in Arcata and have spent the last decade traveling around the world as an environmental educator, mobilizing diverse groups of people towards environmental and social action. I have learned so much from organizations around the world while staying in love with my forested, coastal home. I returned to Humboldt to work with my community in service of the environment.
I am interested in exploring climate change through the lens of resiliency and regeneration and the proactive and life affirming ways we can overcome current and future challenges.
I am honored to join HAF as Program Manager of the CORE Hub. I believe that our collective journey towards a more just, healthy, and peaceful world starts with the work we do in our communities.
My role with CORE Hub is in service to solving the climate crisis in our region and including the diversity of its many communities. It aims to empower people, organizations, institutions, and businesses to achieve healthy, equitable, and just outcomes to help our region thrive.
In my free time I love to practice yoga, paddle board, go to the beach, and coach rec basketball.
