Originally from Vermont, I came to the North Coast by way of a little bit of serendipity but have found my home nestled in between the Pacific to the west and grand mountains to our east. I have ever-deepening roots in both Del Norte and Humboldt; I take heart in the notion that we can bloom where we are planted and should strive to better our world for our neighbors, our community, our children, and our children’s children. I also take great inspiration from the redwoods; may we have our heads in the clouds and be lofty in our dreams while finding grounding in deep roots and connection.

In my role as Director Grantmaking, I oversee HAF + WRCF’s grantmaking function, connecting donors’ generous contributions to community solutions. I am honored to work with an incredible team to bring resources forward and to make real a generational vision of a Thriving, Just, Healthy, and Equitable Region.
