As the Departmental Director for Advancement and Philanthropic Innovation, Craig works to develop and implement strategies that guide the team and its diverse functions in collaboration with the VP. He establishes direction and priorities, oversees grant and contract management, nurtures relationships with funders, monitors philanthropic trends, works to meet fundraising goals, serves as the lead facilitator for team projects, and participates as a member of the organization’s leadership team.

Craig has been with the foundation since 2014. During this time, he has successfully managed and coached teams through periods of growth and reorganization, optimized programs and affiliates, directed grantmaking, met the charitable visions of donors and funders, and implemented equitable and trust-based policies and decision-making processes.

In 2013, Craig graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Business Administration, emphasizing Management. He has been engaged in the non-profit sector since 2007, serving on various boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast and the Ferndale Repertory Theatre, and worked at the Northern California Community Blood Bank for seven years.

In his free time, Craig enjoys drinking coffee, playing with his dogs, performing on stage, exercising, reading, and anticipating the holidays.
