Aristea Saulsbury (Yurok and Tolowa) lives in Northern Humboldt County with her daughter and dog. Aristea has had an eclectic career with the common thread of helping communities become stronger. She holds a BA in History and an MA in Organizational Leadership and Change. The bulk of Aristea’s career was spent in nonprofit early childhood education, followed by several years of project management, racial equity consulting, and school board service. She currently serves as the Co-Executive Director of the McKinleyville Family Resource Center and helps lead The Center at McKinleyville (an innovative integrated services center). She is also Co-Director of Stepping Stones Consulting. When Aristea isn’t working, she is beading jewelry and regalia.
