Uyeki Family Scholarship Fund
The Uyeki Family Scholarship Fund was established to support the post-secondary education of students of Asian or Pacific Islander heritage, who are the first generation in their family to advance their education or training beyond a high school diploma. The scholarship was established to honor the memory of Edwin and Aiko Uyeki, both second generation Japanese American (nisei) children of immigrants. Edwin's life work was as a cell research scientist and Aiko was an accomplished writer and ESL teacher.
